What is the main reason President Obama has so much respect in the world?
WASHINGTON (CNN) — As Barack Obama takes off for his first overseas trip as president, a new national poll indicates that more than eight in 10 Americans ( 80% ) think he will do a good job representing the United States to the world. President Bush only had 29% rating.
Because in relationships among nations, you must treat the other nation as a person, giving them same respect as you would give a person and the same respect you demand.
WHat happens if you do not do this on an individual basis? You end up receiving animosity. Same thing goes for relationships between nations.
If you sideline them as if they are inferior like Bush has done for 8 years, you are only encouraging hate.
