I have used a commercial style vacum packer for years with great results. When I moved into my motorhome full time, I did not have the counter space to use my commercial system. My son had purchase this and was enthusiastic over it. I purchased mine a little over a year ago and have had comparable results to my large unit. If you are careful and get all the air out you get increased storage time and in the freezer it prevents freezer burn. I would recommend it to anyone looking for this type technology.

The Reynolds Hand=Vac is great. I love it. The problem? Try finding refill bags. In our town we have three major grocery chains. All carry the starter kit. Not one carries extra bags. And I have been online for more than thirty minutes trying to find and purchase reill bags with no success. Hmmmm? Reynolds wants us to buy a new starter kit everytime we need bags?
