How much is GLASS (if I need to buy some for mass production, for a factory) – and in what form is it sold?

I need to find out how much it would cost to buy glass for mass production of thermos flasks – a general idea, or a direction to a (company?) website with prices would be great.

Also, please mention how much glass one could get for the price.

And, in what form is it sold? Sheets, blocks..?

I guess you would need to web search for raw glass supplier and check them out near your area (wherever that might be, since you did not even say what country). Whoever makes the oven you would use or other equipment to handle and form it may know sources and cost.

I was at a glass factory in Wisconsin once. They poured silica sand in one end and glass came out of the other. If you wanted to look into the oven you had to hold a mica shield in front of your face because it was so hot it could singe your facial hair (eyebrows, etc.) if not burn your eyes like looking into the sun.
